Non-stop bites all day long! Jessica and their crew made the trip down from Pleasanton TX for some spring inshore action, and we got after it bright and early morning with partly cloudy skies overhead. Water conditions were just right for what we had planned, and I reckon we were fixin' to have ourselves a solid day on the flats. Once the stage was set, we worked the Port Aransas waters using a mix of drift fishing, bottom fishing, and sight fishing techniques to target redfish. The variety of approaches kept us busy all morning, and Port Aransas delivered like it always does - these flats and grass beds are perfect for redfish, especially when y'all can switch between drifting the deeper pockets and sight fishing the shallows. We managed to put some good redfish in the boat, and the crew stayed busy with steady action. Ended up being one of those trips where the tug is the drug kept everyone hooked!
