Hot bite and happy crew! Randi and I headed out for our fall morning trip on the 24' Haynie with clear conditions throughout the day, though storms were possible later. We launched early morning around Port Aransas for some quality inshore action targeting the flats and channels. The water was cooperative and we were fixin' to put together a solid day with Fishin' All The Time Guide Service and our 5 Hour Morning Trip with Captain Larry on a 24' Haynie.

Once the stage was set, we worked the area using drift fishing and bottom fishing techniques, mixing in some casting with soft plastics to cover different water columns. The speckled trout were cooperative throughout the morning, and we managed some nice redfish that put up a good fight. Port Aransas has been delivering lately - the variety of structure and grass flats make it perfect for this type of inshore fishing, especially when y'all can work multiple techniques in the same area. We ended up with plenty of fish caught and had a big ol' time out there!

The morning bite was steady and we hammered down on some quality fish before the weather might could turn. Randi did great working the soft plastics and staying on the fish when they were active.
